Charlie and the chocolate factory
Kudos to Tim Burton for this great movie produced.. Charlie and the chocolate factory is simply superb and entertaining.. I went to Sunway Pyramid on the premier day itself to catch my eye on this "everyone's waiting for" movie.. Out of my expectation the cinema was not packed at all.. But then i enjoyed myself very much throughout the whole movie cause I am once a kid that loves Willy Wonka's candy though i've only tried 2-3 of willy wonka's product.. Let me recap the movie's sypnosis with you guys..
Charlie Bucket is a very good young boy who comes from an extremely poor and loving family that he would love nothing more than admiring Willy Wonka the owner of the greatest chocolate factory around the world. However, Willy Wonka decided to distribute 5 golden tickets through his chocolate bars and whoever that find the golden ticket (children), they will be entitled to spend the whole day visiting the chocolate factory with Mr Willy Wonka. And one of them may win a special and mystery prize.
Charlie's anxiety is to find a golden ticket and he was depressed when he couldn't found one at the first time after unwarp the chocolate bar which he got as a birthday present from his parent. His heart was totally broken and Grandpa Jo get Charlie to buy the 2nd one. It still turned out the same. No luck and as for the third time, Charlie found 10 dollars notes on the street and he decided to try for the last time. As luck would have it, Charlie finds the last golden ticket and goes on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure with his grandpa Joe.
Among the other four winners are Veruca Salt, a spoiled rich girl; Augustus Gloop, a gluttonous kid who stuffs his face with sweets; Violet Beuragarde, a champion trophy gum chewer; and Mike Teavee, a kid who spends more time watching TV and playing video games than anything else. Most fascinating is the mysterious Willy Wonka who in turn had a troubled childhood and has a special grand prize at the end for one of the kids. Also along the tour are Wonka's staff the singing, working Oommpa Loompas (the funny and entertaining little dwafs).
Ok ok.. i would not want to spoilt the mood anymore by telling the whole story.. hehe.. Must watch this movie.. It's simply terrific.. Johnny Deep still look great at the age of 40+..
